Using Technology: Internet Auctions, Tools & More

This course will discuss technology and how it is being applied by today’s auctioneers. Many of the practices being used today by leading internet auctioneers will be addressed. Participants will learn the advantages and disadvantages of internet auctions, how they can participate in online auctions, and become familiar with the practice of proxy bidding. We will discuss useful software and devices that can make auctioneers more efficient, from accounting software to GPS to website development tools.
